Youth

Mission Statement

Our Vision for our Youth Ministry is to create a place where the community of teens around us can gather to live life together. This Vision is centered around Ecclesiastes 4. Our goal is to show students that life is better when we spend it with our community. Ultimately, we do this through encouraging our volunteers to help students develop a passion for loving those in their community. Our big focus is on small groups. We believe that small groups are where students build not only a connection to each other but through that connection, they develop a connection to God through community.

In short, by pouring into our volunteers, our volunteers can then pour into our students, allowing our students to pour into their community.

Our Program

Our youth Ministry here at First Naz focuses on engaging with students on a personal level. To do this, we play games, worship together, take time to hear the word, and finally spend time as small groups talking through life with each other. We are a community dedicated to building one another up.

LEadership & Mentorship

Our Youth Volunteers play a massive role in the mentorship of our students.

Because Youth group as a small group focus, our volunteers play a large part in mentoring students through guided discussions at the end of the night

As a staff, we pour into our volunteers to make sure they have a passion for pouring into students. Our volunteers go through a training process that includes being background checked and being trained in appropriate communications with students.

This is for both the safety of the students and the volunteers.

Family Partnership

We want to partner with parents because we understand the significance of life at home for students. We strongly encourage parents to be involved in their student’s spiritual walk to help guide them and direct them alongside us as a Youth Group.

Meet the Youth Team

Our team of dedicated and trained individuals runs Sunday night activities, invests in students, and fosters an upbeat environment. From attending sporting events to showing up for musicals, this team is excited to support your child in all that they do, every day of the week!
