Great day.  I’m Tim Tripp I’ve been humbly privileged to serve as Worship Leader for Springfield First since the summer of 2017.

My ministry journey started as a toddler in the church where my father pastored.  I sang, set up chairs, played piano, mowed, etc.  Since then, I’ve spent my entire life serving in the church and for nearly 25 years I’ve served in a Worship Leader capacity.  In this position, it is my vision is that you come to recognize and embrace that we were created by God for one purpose – to worship Him with the same passion and fervor with which we each pursue our favorite hobbies.  We worship him by focusing on Him and serving Him!

My full-time job position is with the Illinois State Police and besides serving the church, my time is spent with other passions.  I love spending time with my wife, eating out, antiquing, hunting and fishing.  If you would like to connect with me, just reach out as I’d love to get together, treat you to a meal and hang out.
